Waushara County is currently accepting applications for Casual EMT, Advanced EMT, and Paramedic positions. Waushara County EMS operates under evidence-based clinical practice and operational guidelines, responding to over 3,500 requests annually for 911 and interfacility transfer services. We operate from four stations located strategically throughout Waushara County. If you are a Wisconsin licensed EMS provider focused on exceptional patient experiences we invite you to join us. Successful candidates will render medical care and provide transport services as part of a dynamic rural EMS team. Applicants must possess a current Wisconsin EMS licensure as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic, possess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, a valid Wisconsin driver’s license with a good driving record, and pass an extensive background check with drug testing. As part of a team approach, this position assists in preparing and distributing quality and nutritionally sound meals for both senior dining centers and home delivered meals. Performs duties to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen. Hours range from 18-23 per week, primarily between 7am-12pm (extended hours as needed between 6am-3pm), Mon. – Fri. Per­forms a va­ri­ety of com­plex legal and cler­i­cal du­ties as de­scribed in the Wis­con­sin Statutes in ac­cor­dance with State Laws and County reg­u­la­tions. Ap­pointed by the Clerk of Court and ap­proved by the judge per Wis. Stats. 59.35(1). An oath of of­fice is taken and filed every four years. As­so­ci­ate de­gree in sec­re­tar­ial sci­ence, legal sec­re­tary or ad­min­is­tra­tive as­sis­tant. One to three years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in the legal field.
